A New Restaurant for Crowne by VICTORIA SCHNEPS-YUNIS One of my favorite hotels in Queens is the Crowne Plaza LaGuardia. I always feel like it is a home away from home, mainly because my dearest friend Dolly DeThomas is the public relations person and the beautiful Kathleen Petit, the sales manager, an “Energizer Bunny” of a person who is passionate about her hotel. Pavilion Grille by Joseph M. Lara Through all my travels I looked for quality restaurants inside of the hotels I stayed at, if anything just to entertain clients at. All I found was mediocre food even in the nicest hotels. I recently discovered, however, a new trend in hotels – more and more hotels are opting for quality restaurants for their guest’s enjoyment. Lucky for me, I finally found the diamond in the rough I had been looking for when I recently attended a meeting at the Pavilion Grille, inside of the beautiful Crowne Plaza LaGuardia Hotel in East Elmhurst.
